SKIDCAR SYSTEM, INC. Trademarks

At the posh SKIDCAR SYSTEM offices in Las Vegas, most days begin the same. The routine starts by firing up the computers, venti coffee in hand, to sort through e-mail and our revolving list of important tasks. Along with the usual number of new enquiries and questions from SKIDCAR Users about parts and service, we also get our morning report of web published articles featuring the words or phrases “SKIDCAR”, “driver training”, “skid control”, “avoidance motor-sport events”, etc.

It has become increasingly apparent that the trade name “SKIDCAR” or “SKID CAR” is being used without permission in the naming and explanation of motorsports events, electronic gaming, driver training aids or equipment, and yes, even drifting cars.

Please be aware that the following are Federally Registered trademarks owned by SKIDCAR SYSTEM, INC., a Nevada corporation based in Las Vegas:

SKIDCAR™

SKIDTRUCK®

SKIDCAR SYSTEM®

IT'S ABOUT GRIP, NOT SLIP®

Any descriptive use of these marks for any device or action not using an original Cedergrens Skid Car design is in violation of these Federally registered trademarks.

So all you posers out there, we are watching. The firm who represents our trademark defense is keen on going to Germany and the new Audi R8 competition school, right after they dock the new yacht in the Monaco Harbor…so they are hungry. Beware!

Fire Department SKIDTRUCK Training

As a presenter during our 2010 International SkidCar Users Conference, Major Mike Fitzgerald of the Edmond Oklahoma Fire Department took an opportunity to show off his photo shop skills when he displayed this pic of the first SkidCar System:

In reality though, Maj. Fitzgerald is doing great things in driver training, promoting safety not only to his own department but other smaller departments in the region. See what they think of their SKIDTRUCK Fire Engine experience here:
